Please select a Regional Program.
T2T & T2C typically run from November to April as a 40 hour program with training on Friday and/or Sunday evenings. Trials take place in September/October.
Learn to Train is a development program which typically runs from April to July.
Women's regional programming is currently delivered on the lower mainland, BC Interior and Vancouver Island.
The Regional Program is the first step in the provincial team athlete identification process and is mandatory for athletes to participate if interested in representing BC. These programs are for athletes interested in continuous, committed, training during the Winter and Spring months in their region with certified coaches. The Regional Programs are delivered in order to a) develop competitive depth and raise the overall standard of players in BC and b) identify, monitor, and oversee the development of top BC field hockey players. This is our mandate and FHBC works with Canadian Sports Institute and the Provincial Government to identify and serve BC’s most promising athletes.
