Boys Regional Programs Minimize

The Regional Program (fall/spring or spring/summer) is the first step in the provincial athlete identification process.

The Regional Athlete Program streams are for athletes interested in continuous, committed training with certified coaches.

All registration and program information is provided on each program's webpage below!:

  • Learn to Train U13 April-July
    Registration: March
    Training: April - July. Festival in July.
    Development Program (targeting U13 athletes)
    Technical skills development
    Participation in an educational, supportive and fun environment
    Fun game play at FHBC Festival in
  • Train to Train U15 February-April
  • Registration: December/January
    Trial: February.
    Training: February-April. Festival in  April/May.
    Regional Program (targeting U15 athletes)
    Continued development of the fundamental movement skills (FMS) and refined technical and tactical skills covered in the Learn to Train program
    Developing the next level of challenging and advanced technical and tactical skills in a systematic way
    Developing a deep understanding of the various concepts, which govern the game, via mini hockey
    Improving the understanding of the players via simplified mini games, specific to the theme and specific situation of the game
  • Train to Compete U18 February - April
    Registration: December/January
    Trial: February
    Training: February-April. Tournament in April.
